CALL FOR PAPERS

The workshop is the 5th event in the series of astrobiology workshops organised by the European Astrobiology
Network Association, EANA. Special attention will be given to the role of radiation in the various fields of
astrobiology, with the following focus points:
















Contributions related to other topics covered by astrobiology will also be welcome.
The workshop will be organized as a forum to maximize the advantages of interdisciplinary innovative
discussions. Poster Sessions will be open during the whole meeting.



REGISTRATION

According to the tradition followed by the former EANA Workshops, there is no registration fee, but a
contribution of 20 € per person is requested to cover catering expenses (breaks, welcome party).

The workshop will be held in the Conference Room of the Ministry of Informatics and Communication
(Budapest, Dob utca 75-81), located in the center of Budapest, on the left bank of the river Danube, near the
grand boulevard. It is easily reachable by public transportation (trams No. 4, 6 and is at a 10 minute walking
distance from subway 2). Several restaurants and hotels of different standards are available in the
neighbourhood of the conference site (for detailed information see:

TRAVEL FUNDS

Travel funds will be granted in priority to undergraduate and graduate students presenting a poster.
Applications including a short letter of motivation and a short CV (age, field of research, present position,
Institution, University, Laboratory, Address) should be sent to André Brack, Centre de Biophysique Moléculaire,
Rue Charles Sadron, F-45071 Orléans cedex 2, France, or by e-mail to
André Brack by 30 June 2005.

For all participants welcome party is organised in the neighbouring Hotel UNIO on the 10th October 2005.


OPTIONAL

Dinner of Hungarian style in the Restaurant Margitkert for 40 € per person on the 11th October 2005.
